Privacy Policy
We're a privacy company, so this policy is short — because the honest answer to "what do you collect?" is "almost nothing." This Privacy Policy describes how Data Sparse Solutions, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Connecticut Limited Liability Company, handles information in connection with the website www.datasparse.com (the "Site").
1. What We Collect
The Site collects personal information in exactly one place: the contact form. If you choose to submit it, we receive your name, email address, organization (optional), and project description. That's the complete list. Every field exists so we can understand your inquiry and respond to it — nothing more.
If you book a consultation or advisory call through a booking link on the Site, your booking details (and payment, where collected at booking) are processed by the third-party scheduling and payment services described in Section 4. We receive the information needed to hold and conduct your appointment.
If you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to send.
2. What We Don't Collect
- No tracking cookies
- No analytics or measurement pixels
- No advertising trackers or third-party scripts that profile you
- No fingerprinting, session recording, or heatmaps
- No sale, rental, or sharing of personal information for marketing — ever
Browsing the Site requires no account and deposits no identifiers that follow you elsewhere.
3. Infrastructure Disclosure
Being straightforward about our stack matters to us. The Site is self-hosted and delivered through Cloudflare, which provides network security and content delivery. In performing that role, Cloudflare transiently processes technical connection data (such as your IP address) to route traffic and block malicious activity, in accordance with Cloudflare's privacy policy. Our own web server keeps only the minimal, short-lived technical logs needed to operate and secure the Site; we do not use them to identify or profile visitors.
4. Third-Party Services
When you book an appointment through the Site, scheduling is handled by Google Calendar appointment booking and payment (where applicable) is processed by Stripe. Information you provide to those services is governed by their own privacy policies: Google and Stripe. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, evaluate whether we're a fit for your project, schedule and conduct booked engagements, and — if you become a client — deliver services under the applicable service agreement. We do not use your information for advertising, and we will not add you to a marketing list you didn't ask for.
6. Retention and Deletion
If you contact us and do not become a client, your contact form submission is deleted within 90 days.
If you become a client, information relevant to the engagement is retained for the duration of the relationship and as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, and is handled in accordance with the privacy and data-handling provisions of your Client Services Agreement or Advisory Engagement Agreement.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing admin@datasparse.com. Because we collect so little, these requests are usually simple to fulfill, and we'll respond promptly. We will verify that a deletion request comes from the email address associated with the information before acting on it.
8. Security
We protect the information we hold using reasonable technical and organizational measures, including transport encryption (HTTPS) for the Site and access limited to those who need it. The most effective security measure we take, however, is structural: we minimize what we collect in the first place, so there is very little to lose.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is a business-services site and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through the Site, contact us at admin@datasparse.com and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Because the Site collects so little, we expect changes to be rare — and any change that expands what we collect would be a departure from how we do business.
